Washington, D.C. – Partnership for Conservation (P4C) President Robert Ramsay released a statement Thursday reacting to the release of the “America the Beautiful” report by the Biden administration. The report commits the administration will “honor private property rights and support the voluntary stewardship efforts of private landowners and fishers” in pursuit of its laudable goal of bringing 30 percent of all U.S. land and coastal sea area under conservation protection by 2030.
“Partnership for Conservation applauds the Biden administration’s recognition of the critical role private land conservation will play in pursuing a shared objective of bringing 30 percent of all U.S. land and coastal sea area under conservation protection by 2030,” said P4C President Robert Ramsay. “We must leverage every tool in the nation’s toolkit to conserve precious habitats, wildlife and lands for the next generation and Americans who come together in partnerships stand ready to do their part.”
P4C is a diverse, national coalition of stakeholders working to ensure the long-term availability and integrity of conservation easement donations.
