A delegation of P4C members visited the nation’s capital in March for our Annual Fly-In to spread the word about the importance of conservation partnerships.
These members participated in over 120 meetings with members of Congress and their staff and encouraged clarification of the rules for those who help conserve our nation’s most precious lands.
During this visit, a group of P4C members filmed video testimonials attesting to the positive effects of private investment in conservation. Members testified to the benefits of private conservation partnerships and importance of partnerships in protecting precious lands for generations to come.
Additionally, they spoke about the beneficial impact of the conservation easement tax incentive on conservation practices in our nation.
Our members also provided educational information about the problems with certain proposed legislation, including S.170.
These videos are excellent examples of our members’ important work – and the importance of preserving the conservation easement tax incentive to protect our nation’s land for generations to come.
